The Fluid Lore 3D Lite application is a three dimensional fluid mechanics simulation demonstration, which is based on numerical solving of the Navier-Stokes equations.
A simulated fluid is set in a transparent container, and a force applies on it. A direction of this force depends on a tilt of a smartphone/tablet. This means that the fluid flows in the direction in which the device is tilted. Current direction of that force presents a green arrow on the top of the screen.
In the container besides the fluid, walls can be present, fluid sources and drainage grates, through which the fluid flows out of the container.
There are several spatial configurations of elements in the container defined in the application. Also several looks of the fluid can be choosen be the user. And also there is a possibility in the application to change the background of the animation.
